Eutech pH6+ Tutorial Video
Step by step video explaining how to calibrate the Eutech pH6+
Welcome to RMS.
This is an informational video on how to calibrate the Eutech pH6+ portable instrument. For this you will need your buffer solutions and de-ionised water cleaning between the buffers. Today we are using 7 and 4 pH buffers. First of all, we press the 'Cal' key to enter calibration mode and you will notice that the reading is flashing. This indicates that you are in calibration mode.
We submerse both the temperature and the pH sensor into pH buffer 7 and as you can see, it has recognised the reading. Once this reading stabilises, we then press the 'enter' key. You will recognise that the reading has now adjusted to 7 pH. Now we clean both sensors in de-ionised water and then wipe down with a soft tissue. Then we submerse the two sensors into the 4 pH buffer. Again you will see that the reading has dropped. When this stabilises, we again press the 'enter' key.
As you can see, the reading has been adjusted to the correct reading. To end this process and enter back into measurement mode, you press the 'cal' key and as you can see the measurement is correct in 4 and we will clean in de-ionised water. We will submerse it into 7 and we have the correct reading.

Suppliers of electrochemistry laboratory equipment
Electrochemistry deals with the interaction between electrical energy and chemical change.
We supply the UK with top-of-the-range electrochemistry laboratory equipment and offer a huge range of electrode equivalents, industrial and laboratory supplies and meters. All of our products have been rigorously tested in laboratories to ensure that they meet the highest quality standards. Our range of electrochemistry laboratory equipment includes products from:
Electrochemistry is the study of how electricity is formed during the reaction of chemicals. This chemical reaction takes place at the interface of an electrode – usually a solid metal or a semiconductor – and an ionic conductor; the electrolyte. These reactions involve the electric charges from the chemical reaction moving between the electrodes and the electrolyte.
The electrochemistry laboratory equipment we supply enables ongoing scientific research and we are leadings suppliers to major scientists, laboratories and professionals across Scotland and the UK. We stock a wide range of electrode equivalents, Eutech meters, industrial electrodes and much more. Take a look at our full product range, or contact us for further information.
