The included Haz-Tab disinfectant tablets are formulated with NaDCC (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate)—a proven, hospital-grade chlorine-releasing compound. When applied:

1. Granules absorb the blood while simultaneously disinfecting the spill area.

2. The resulting waste can then be safely collected and disposed of using the scoop, scraper, and disposal bag.

3. The disinfectant solution, created by dissolving the Haz-Tab tablets in water, eliminates bacteria, viruses, and fungi, providing a complete hygienic finish.

In this kit when the Haz-Tab granules are poured onto the spill their container is used as a diluter vessel for the Mini Haz-Tab tablets to make up a solution of 10,000ppm available chlorine.
